Stew Pie

Bread (can be toasted if you wish)
Mashed Potatoes
1 can of beef stew with vegetables

Cook the stew and mashed potatoes according to package directions (or for homemade potatoes, refer to my "Easy Garlic Mashed Potatoes" recipe). Place two slices of bread on a plate and spread cooked mashed potatoes over the bread. With a ladle, pour stew on top of bread and mashed potatoes.

This recipe is a variation of one my grandmother used to make me, but couldn't remember completely. It would be a great use of leftover Mashed Potatoes, and is quick and very easy.
